The holiday season means family visits, guests arriving from far away and winter roads. If you need a rental car during this period, here are our tips to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Book early

During the holidays, many people rent at the same time, especially large vehicles. Book as soon as your dates are set so you have a choice of vehicle.

Pick the right size

For the whole family, the gifts and the luggage, consider a 7-seat vehicle: our Caravan and our XXL SUV seat 7 passengers. For a couple or a small family, a sedan or a compact SUV is enough. Browse the full fleet.

Guests arriving by plane or train?

Our booking form offers several pickup locations: our Montréal-Nord counter, Montréal international airport (YUL) and Central Station (Gare Centrale). Choose the one that best fits your arrival.

Check our hours during the holidays

Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Sunday, we accept returns only. Hours may change on statutory holidays: call us at 1 (866) 725-2131 to confirm before planning your pickup or return.

Get ready for winter roads

Winter tires are mandatory in Québec from December 1 to March 15, including on rental vehicles. Before a long drive, check road conditions on Québec 511. The SAAQ also recommends keeping a winter supply kit in the vehicle: snow brush, ice scraper, windshield washer fluid and shovel. We also suggest adding jumper cables, a flashlight and a blanket.

No credit card? No problem
